Respectfully disagree. A scholarship OFFER can be pulled or declined at any time for any reason, as others have already stated. Handwringing about non-existent "legal issues" and convoluted conspiracy theories about ulterior motives are not productive and do a real disservice to the staff and the university. It is way past time to move on.

 

Most of the time things are exactly what they appear to be. Our nature is to worry about unlikely possibilities and danger.

Not sure what that means when we threw the ball for 400 yards. Poor execution, penalties, and poor special teams did us in along with ARs weird decision to not run the ball.

Can you elaborate please? Am I behind, as I haven’t seen anything related to Miami and this young man as a “Trojan horse”. What has happened or can you tell me what page I need to view, to catch up?

Not being able to do something others do openly and freely because of your skin color is ridiculous, yes. Always will be.

I realize it’s obviously very sensitive topic but it’s clearly a double standard and I finally saw the video…literally a 2 second clip of him singing a song. If he got processed then say he did, don’t drop him for that. My brother in Christ the double standard is super weak. If the University has a problem with it, they need to drop everybody who says it.

 

So, Miami is handing out participation trophies?

 

400 yards for 3 touchdowns and an interception is not winning football in the SEC when you have no rushing touchdowns on 21 attempts for 45 yards with our current defense. I do believe without looking at the stats that this years team has been primarily a running team quarterback included. That would lead me to believe that we were forced to throw the ball because we were not able to run it and/or passing yards were put up because we were always behind.

 

Can we let the whole Stokes thing go. Every thread it gets talked about ends up locked and we're nearly 12,000 post deep in this Twitter update thread which I personally enjoy

 

Again, poor execution, penalties and bad special teams cost us. Poor execution in the RPOs, run blocking prevented us from running like we have come known to do this year, penalties kept us in 3rd and LONG, and bad special teams costs us a bunch of points on the missed FG's the muffed punt for a TD etc. Hell if you take away just the special teams plays and we win. Poor execution, bad penalties, and bad special teams wad the story of the game IMO.
