Linebackers. Give me linebackers and linemen. Really don't get why we don't seem to be able to grab them as much as we need them. Backers should be fighting to come here with our depth chart.

 

This is why you Dont put too much stock into rankings and just view it as a thing to brag about

 

Between Harold Perkins last year and Cormani this year, I'm not ready to be burned this bad again.

 

I now say after following the Gators with recruiting for a very very long time, "I will believe it when I see it"....any even then..I wait for LOI...and now with the portal...

 

Why the drop?

 

They really dropped that dude 150 spots in less than a month like nobody would notice lmao.

 

Any chance with his hs teammate, also an OSU commit, Brandon Innis? Not a position of need given how many we already have but he is a stud.

 

His rating didn't go up or down. That information on both sides is still what shows up. It's his 247 ranking versus his 247 composite ranking. 247 just doesn't rate him as high as some other sites.

 

Haven’t seen or heard anything about Innis… bobby might be able to answer this with more knowledge though

 

His rating by 247 dropped 150 spots from late October to yesterday (one side) resulting in a drop of 30 spots in the composite (the other side).

 

Okay, maybe I misunderstood. From what I see, his 247 rating started at 90 on 2/21, went up to 91 on 8/11 and then back down to a 90 on 11/16. His 247 ranking dropped, but his rating really hasn't changed dramatically. There may have been a valid reason. I'm not sure I buy anti-Gator bias. Dot was the only one I think was really doing that.

But I totally agree with the premise that these ratings of individual player are overvalued. At the same time I do think that the average rating of an overall class has some merit. I like to see a class average of 92+.
