i certainly will not debate that, because i don't know the man. my comment was regarding the posters who commented specifically on his ability as a coach. talk down on him as a person for his past, that's cool with me.

i just don't understand how people can talk down on his coaching ability when he has been nothing but successful, literally everywhere he has coached.

he's a loser because he's a dickwad of a human being. as the dude that grew up with him said, Sanders has always been about himself, that's a loser of a person. even his last year at f$u, he gamed the system forcing the State to create a rule due to his actions requiring student-athletes to stay academically eligible throughout the year.

    John Brantley: A Football Life - September 3, 2021

As a senior quarterback at Forest High in 1974, he, along with his younger linebacker brother, Scot, led the Wildcats to their first of two consecutive state championships.

That led to a scholarship to play quarterback at the University of Florida – arriving in Gainesville a not-so-stout 158 pounds.

After his UF days were over Brantley returned home, married his college sweetheart, Karen, and went about starting a career and a family, a son, Johnny, and a daughter, Morgan. His football days seemed over. Until …

right! so do me a favor and research his actual youth football and baseball teams in texas. look up his record as coach at trinity christian hs in dallas, look at his record at jsu. (all of which are the items that i spoke of)

regarding prime prep, i don't believe the football program ever really got started. but if it did, what was his record, research it for me please.

im assuming yall think urban is one of the worst coaches of all time?!??

Dammit Hopper’s in the portal. Let’s get him out Coach Napier. He’s a starter next season for us. Possible leader.

Yeah that sucks. Didn't see that coming. And diabate carried himself well until this past year. Disappointed to see him continue with his petty/dramatic tweets

Well your successful businessman helped set up a sham charter school to rip off Texas taxpayers and use it as the background to promote himself for a reality TV show. He prayed upon kids and their parents dreams for a better education and chance in life to enrich himself. I had no opinion of his post playing career until I read up on his academy. The guy is a complete POS as a human and I couldn't care less about his coaching acumen.

I thought you needed to be a college graduate to coach college football. Deon was nowhere near graduating when he left FSU. He may have bought a degree somewhere but I doubt he has a legitimate degree.

It’s foolish. And whoever pushes them there from their inner circle is not doing them any favors.

If he leaves just bring the LB from UL that is in the portal. He is another All-Sun Belt guy that already knows the D.
