Wow what a mess. You know, I found it interesting on another thread how the Miami players were quite purposeful and respectful in their comments regarding Rashada flipping. I was impressed with how the players took it in stride and were looking ahead — there wasn’t much if any Mario-bashing. So here’s this fan thread basically sparing Mario the blame and putting it all on the players. Non sequitur…..

It’ll be interesting to watch this unfold in the coming weeks. Or unravel may be a better word. Where’s that popcorn emoji?

 

Anyone who has any doubts about the importance of rebuilding a broken team culture need look no farther than the difference between what's going in Coral Gables and what Billy is doing in Gainesville. I detest Miami too much to ever truly feel sorry for them, but they are indeed pathetic. It seems that even John Ruiz and his billions can't buy a player's heart.

 

Yea i've said it on this board too; regardless of how you feel about Cristobal as a coach....he inherited a MESS culture wise. Yes as a HC you gotta be able to turn that tide but it's just......yikes

 

Ah man, that gave me crazy feelings of a Saban level Florida. I hope Billy Napier can be that guy

 

The fact that they're engaging in this much damage control speaks volumes, reminds me of...

 

Florida has to look very appealing to him right now as a rb. He sees that the offense runs the ball at least 50% of the time, the current o-line looks well, and ETN as a freshman is getting a nice amount of play. I cannot believe there is a more appealing program to him at the moment. Dijon being committed is huge as well

 

I don’t know how good Rashada is because I haven’t looked at his highlights but he has a lot of confidence committing to a team with a qb already committed.

 

We’re gonna have to start taking screen shots and posting those, because of deleting. Lol

 

he’s much better than Stokes, IMO.
