It gives us great first hand knowledge of the OU playbook and offense as well. 5 years working under Riley and supporting OU QBs, 3 is which are now in the NFL as starting QBs. Not too shabby. TE analyst is nice job for him with his understanding of route running/pass offense at OU and his background blocking as a successful starter on OU OL during playing career

You never know. Saban hires off the field guys that can plug and coach whenever needed.. maybe after this year CBN decides he needs a dedicated play caller… and here’s a guy on staff that he’s grown comfortable with that everyone seems to think should be calling plays

I can't believe SOS would steal the moniker from cajuns. He probably didn't even know the directional school exist in Louisiana at the time he coined the swamp.

How can an analyst coach special teams from off the field? Not sure I understand this one.

He didn’t. They had nothing to do with The Swamp being bestowed in Gainesville. As a matter of fact Spurrier credits Norm Carlson for coming up with the name.
In The Swamp, only Gators get out alive

Probably spearheads the film work of the coming opponent. Putting together a bullet point plan for the on field coaches to implement during practice.

Smoke about Perkins and Stewart going to Deion. Deion is a shameless self promoter. I can see him throwing everything at them to make a splash.

I'm sure that's part of his job, but, what on-field coaches would that be? There are no ST on-field coaches identified, at least not publicly. Is a an LB or corners coach going to coach a punter on the practice field?

UF made the final 3 for DL Caden Story. Auburn and Clemson are the others finalists. Will make his commitment on Feb 2 at 10 AM.

If you’re serious about the game and improving, I don’t understand why you would go to JSU. Sure there is a payday, but long term how are you helping yourself by playing against below avg talent?

I think we can creatively work around this with NIL walk-ons now.
