I guess that’s why he threw his assistants under the bus.

I wish he would of stayed because he would definitely be WR1 for us and no doubt would get more balls than he did last year with AR running the offense. I’m not surprised he isn’t a starter there though Jarrett and Demus are both really good.

Attitude is why Samford made it a game. Hope all the loser mentality transferred or has been eliminated.

I always viewed Mull (along with the staff that he kept for all the years) as a 10-2 ceiling to 7-5 floor kind of Coach. Give him an outstanding QB and they peak at 10-2 . Give him average QB and it’s 7-5.

Seems like DM was operating as if he was at MSU, but Florida is NOT msu. I think after the UK loss, he was smart enough to see he was inches from the cliff. Poor recruiting, lack of depth and underperforming coaches he was deep in the weeds. When you add the tension between him and the AD, his only comfort was a huge nest egg if fired.
DM is a good OC and that's it. Sometimes we all aspire to do something we think we're capable of doing but it's a bad fit. Muschamp is the same. I do not believe these guys set out to fail it's that their skill set was lacking and sometimes people can be so stubborn that they convince themselves they can succeed when they can't.

I feel like he put all his eggs into one basket, beating Bama. Beating Bama in 20 would have sent him to the playoffs and potentially a national championship which he would have used to leverage into an NFL gig. That didn't happen and we saw how he handled the bowl game that year. Inexcusable. Then last year was the same thing. Beat Bama and the season outlook is different. I think he checked out after shooting his shot against them and really scheming around Jones short comings. He overhauled the offense to be a running juggernaut but probably knew the more game film existed the more difficult the yards would come. Kentucky was the end for all intents and purposes. Never seen a coach give up with 2 minutes before half and decent field position. I checked out of the season at that point too.

Bobby or anyone for that matter.

Do you think Copeland was part of the locker room problem? To me, he seemed like a Primadonna and a “ME” guy. Never seemed to be happy at UF, and that he regretted his choice. Being from Pcola, Escambia Grad, and fan, It’s a tad disheartening.

I went to the Bama game with intentions of coming to a later game but decided not to pay for watching that.
