Yeah not really on a ledge. Just saying I do not know if Denson/Jackson has anything to do with the other three. It’s possible that Denson is a back up plan for Bama if they don’t get McClain. I just did not want to give anyone the impression that the two commits are still keeping their recruitments going because they are in fact being processed. I do not remember either actually saying they even shut things down. Kids also tend to give reporters from various programs positive interviews about their program.

i wonder when/if PSU will start demanding more of Franklin. He’s stabalized the program but like does he have “it” as a coach to elevate them to OSU level? They can never seem to land a top flight QB or develop who they have into one

 

Odd but okay. You can't blame a player for listening to a staff that talks about depth, NIL, competition, etc. Perhaps it's an indication we look good for other DBs. But, it says he's not actually committed. Right?

Isn't it common knowledge that his contract says he has to be the highest paid coach...ie if someone gets a job making more Bama has to up his salary automatically.

 

Guess they're glad private schools don't disclose their contracts as Lincoln Riley is suspected to be the highest paid coach. I wonder if Kirby's contract has cash-back and it's just to make Bama spend more. Maybe a few mill included to pay cash incentives up front for visits and on the spot commitments.

 

It's like our rivals decide to gang up on us to negative recruit on the same subject (they're still taking DBs etc. etc.)

 

Hate how this guy has a longer tenure than spurrier with no end in sight. Might be a weird comparison but it just bothers me that spurrier couldn't be our 20 year guy or that urban couldn't last ten but Saban drops out of the nfl and decides to camp out at Bama for 15 years and counting. I curse drew Brees even if it wasn't his fault Miami didn't grab him.
