You had every reason, starting with Mullen hand picking him as his QB that cycle.

Yes! Interesting he is named the starter. Light bulb came on? Offense tailored to his strengths? Mullen actually sucks but has had generational players that succeeded in spite of his whisperin?

 

It’s Arizona St. I thought EJ was going to be better than he is though. Trask was having a tough time moving the ball on a very good Auburn defense. Trask went out for a series and EJ went down the field fairly effortlessly and got us a fg. He did do while mostly throwing the ball too. At that point, I had high hopes for him as I did after tge Bama game. We saw what he looked like when teams game planned for him though.

Are we counting him as gone to BAMA or staying with the good guys?

 

Perhaps this season gives us reason to think it was part the system and all that went with it. I have no idea what Az St’s QB room looks like though.

I just don’t think we have a position for him. He waited too long and isn’t good enough to do that. He’s a really good player, but so we’re all the ones who committed.

Interesting. This is the first definitive thing I've seen about him. I hope he has the skills of his older brother and the desire to outshine him. We need a guy who can strike fear.
