Thats how I'm feeling. He obviously loves UF so that's not an issue. Hoping we can close on this one. Would be a hell of a get. May even sway John Walker to stay home and play with Bryant and Jackson.

 

His whole attitude and the way he is handling this setback is inspiring. He is a hell of a young man with great character. That part has always apparent. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

 

Makes me appreciate the work that Champ, Mac and Mullen put in more. We know It didn't work for us in the end but I'm certain we had never hit the lows that Tenn did after the Fulmer era. While our coaches after Urban were a mixed bag of moderate success, Their string of coaches was just plain bad and literally set that team back a decade at least.

 

I’m all about optimism but these two guys are incentivized to create drama.

 

I'm hearing Bryant might move it to Wednesday.

Weekend- BBQ and then

Yea I forgot about Castell committing on Saturday.

 

Exactly. I mean we like to complain about our past coaches and the troubles we have had but Muschamp had an 11-1 regular season with a Sugar Bowl, Mac took us to 2 SEC Championship games and Mullen came damn close to the playoffs. Tennessee and FSU are examples of how bad it could be.

 

Its not the wins and losses. It's how they hollowed out the program over time, setting us back years. Years that wins cannot fix.

 

Going to count Bryant as 50/50. It’s tough to believe a flip this late. Miameh likes to troll as much as FSwho

 

But it's not a flip, it's his 1st commitment. And he's been to UF as much as anybody so I won't count him out till he signs elsewhere.

 

I can assure you, and I know we all agree, whoever he commits to today will be happy but rest assured this is a LONG way from being over

 

Looks like he IS going to announce today.
It seems like we come in second in a lot of Miami/ UF battles. As if the recruits are using us to get more money out of the canes by just merely suggesting visiting UF or delaying commitment dates. I have been forced to visit Canes sites lately for info and I thought Uga was obsessed with the Gators but Miami has got a true hatred of Florida. Especially Ruiz.

Hope we get Bryant, seems he was more or less a lock for UF a few months ago. Same with some of those cornerbacks, not sure what happened with those guys but hope we can finish with McLain.
