Our administration has really picked some duds haven’t they

 

Oh yeah..I tried to always support them...but..it was difficult

 

Hard to build stability with that kind of change. A good foundation and culture is what UF needs right now. I think that’s why BN was hired.

 

It's boggleminding.

 

They used to say cupcake games are there to ensure there are 7 home games that still are close to sellouts. The good teams ask us for home and away schedules, small teams will take an away game only in return of several hundred thousand, which apparently is still more profitable for us (probably 3 to 4M).

 

Agree with that math. So, I'm curious though. Would you go to 100 percent of the games if all were big games? I already do regardless, but, I bet there are a lot of people who can only do a few games a year for various reasons.

 

100% agree that this is what Billy will bring, but from all accounts it seemed Stricklin wasn't even looking for that, just a promising midmajor coach with values that could recruit. He was surprised of what Billy's extensive plans were, but said his demands and money requirements were so well justified that he was sold and hired him.

Too bad BN didn't know how NIL would be in advance so he could have included how it should work in his demands...

 

I don’t think he will live up to the hype. Any idea what his HS competition was like?

His clips were the most impressive. His SPARQ numbers were off the charts. Very explosive athlete.

 

Yeah, but his commitment has brought in commitments from a lot of other top players, which will benefit the team nonetheless.
