I'm sorry to report. Games can't get here fast enough for me so the coaches can show what they've got to actually offer.

Exactly. The staff is going against proven products right now. Kirby can flash a ring, Saban is Saban, Dabo, even Jimbo can point back to fsu. I'm ready to see what the staff has to offer on the field

 

My worry is that kids will care less about winning and program success (even nfl draft success) and more about money they can get right away.

I would tend to agree, but some will point towards what Sark is doing at Texas and what Cristobal is doing at Miami and say neither one has had any success on the field to justify their recruiting success this cycle. I'm not sounding any alarms, but I would point to those two as outliers.

 

Cutty Sark went 5-7 including a loss against Kansas and was in real danger of getting run after only one season at Texas, it was a disaster. Now he’s a recruiting machine. Huh, I wonder why..

 

We’ve been watching it for decades now, it’s old hat. Just perspectives are all tgat have changed.
