Yup. Fortunately for me I lucked into a sweet house super cheap on SW 3rd Ave just off of 13th street right next to campus.

Jennings hall was a concrete cell block. Funny how we just accepted things like that back then. I would have stayed in Jennings had I not lucked into my house and not known any better.

 

If we land Torrence today 22 OL would be (L to R) gouriage,white , kinglsey,Torrence , Braun …correct?? If that’s the case I’d sign up for that all day

Yea...I lived in TWO old mobile homes.
One behind the Picadilly Apts off 34th Street.
And another one off Archer Road just west of I-75.
Geeez!

 

I lived in grad apt. (Schulte (sp) Village) across from Shands emergency entrance, used to hear helicopter bringing people in..it is now a place for families to stay when they have someone in Shands...It was small, 2 bedrooms...I was lucky and got assigned the large one, my roommate had a tiny closet bedroom...it was very very basic..glad they have improved conditions for students
