I still think we have 10 SEC titles and 4 NCs.

It's really pretty much that simple. They want him, but not at what they view as an inflated price. The budget is not unlimited, you blow a high percentage on one guy you have problems.....possibly starting with guys in your existing locker room.
As for QB, I would be patient. See how Brown and Miller look, see who enters the portal( there will be a lot to choose from). 24 class looks better from a QB standpoint anyway.....we simply are getting held up by Rashada due to limited QB options, I personally agree with the decision to have a bottom line number and being willing to walk

This is ridiculous..they are not even proven as a college player..
So just asking..should we offer say 8 mill for him?

Not only that, since he is in Cali you will start paying him now, kid will get paid a year before he even gets to college. It's flat out crazy. And you can bet AR is watching as well

I thought someone had posted his high school completion percentage at 50%..

I wish someone with great statistical skills would find and post the SEC starting QBs for every team for the last 6 years coming out of high school and their completion percentages. I'll bet no one has a lowly 50% completion percentage.

That is one reason why I was interested in this... I believe there might be a way to predict if a high school QB translates to a good QB in college or NOT. And I knew about EJ's less than stellar completion percentage in high school when I compared his numbers to Corral's numbers.

Bowman enters the portal. Such a disappointment.

I think the more we dig the more we find more such correlations. Low completion percentage in high school might be a dead giveaway for how they perform in college. This need to be further investigated..

Having said that I like one QB from the 2024 class named Walker White...

We have so many good running backs on our roster and good ones coming in, but I did want Bowman to succeed because he's from Lakeland.

I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
