What are parents thinking?

 

I don’t like to root against people, but there’s a part of me that would love nothing more than this. I saw one of his televised hs games and I was very unimpressed considering they touted him as the highest rated recruit from Texas, ever.

 

UGA signed three of the top ten CBs last year. They can’t keep all four guys.

I was at that slUT game at the checker board. Recall it being a one score game at half and slUT ran the 2nd half KO back for a TD. Later, when still in reach, SOS was going for it on 4th down deep in our territory to set them up with short fields. Not exactly the blow out that the score indicated.

Jerome Betis ran through our depleted front 7 in the 2nd half.

 

7-3 at halftime and then yes....2nd half kickoff returned for a to. The infamous "at least our students don't get killed game."

Also yes. Bettis was in check until injuries took their toll in the 2nd half. Spurrier caught some grief in that game as we were in command early but he forced the issue with play calling at times and gave up some scoring opportunities with more conservative decision making.

 

Friggin SI has full-bore woke (and WTH hell is "woke" when "awake" might be a better useage) with a fatty on the cover. Not so long ago, TV news reporters had nice looking reporters, not so much now as most have "radio" looks.

 

The only issue I have with this messaging is that it tries to normalize the obesity epidemic that plagues the US. This is a public health crisis and should in no way be promoted

This, absolutely. The question every American should be asking themselves is why are the powers that be normalizing/promoting obesity? The answer is pretty obvious but I don’t want to derail this thread.

 

O I could go off on that stuff but you are correct. We should discuss that elsewhere

 

Ewers will have a tough time living up to the hype. Fan expectations will be unrealistic.
