The Alabama lobby didn't like seeing Tennessee and aTm landing all those recruits....

 

This will be enforced about as much as arresting newlyweds for having oral sex, at home, in Alabama. (There is an actual law in the books btw)

 

That’s pretty cool. Make retroactive rules that others didn’t know and punish them.

 

I'm pretty confident that any attempted punishment by the NCAA will be met with a swift "go f*** yourself" from whatever institution is on the receiving end, especially if multiple big-name universities are involved.

 

Good or bad, unfortunately, UF will probably be the only one to follow these “guidelines”.

 

Yet it’ll be the big name universities that are pushing it. Especially if Bama and a few others can’t keep up financially.

 

I don't think there's really a risk of big names not being able to keep up. I could see some of the CHOOSING to not keep up, though. Bama fans would sell their sister-wives for a chance to win a few more games

Exactly - there’s been a set of rules in place for as long as the NCAA has been in existence and they’ve demonstrated zero interest in enforcing them - beyond selectively.

We have no logical reason to think they’ll objectively enforce any new set of rules they come up with.
