How did Jones lose a year. Was he hurt his Sr. year? If so he played a lot of football before that. Wangoy is new to football. He played one year of football after coming over from England when he was 16. He played basketball, soccer and rugby in England. Portnjagin was a semi-professional offensive tackle from the German Football League before signing with UF. I don't know if Wagnoy played football before he played for Clearwater. Jones didn't play his 2nd year at UF. After Manuel's injury UF needed another OT. He still didn't play. So far under CBN, healthy OL that don't play their 2nd year haven't worked out. We'll see. As mentioned Jones was already passed by Lovett at RT. According to TOS, Lovett or Manuel are at RT to start spring. So, if Lovett stays at RT and Jones is passed by Westphal and/or Wagnoy. I don't know how he gets PT in 2025.
They may want to save a few of those $$ to pay lawyers to fight off the inevitable Title IX suits they'll no doubt face.
You get bad calls and each ump seems to have their own little differences in how they call it, but I’d hate to see that happen to the game.
Umpires are such a big part of baseball, they literally have to make a call on every single play. It's a tough job and they make mistakes, but i think you lose something the more tech gets involved in baseball. I'm probably an old head when it comes to this, and I'm ok with that haha. I already dislike the new "little league bag" at first that college baseball is using.
