What are you talking about... both Partys need diversity? Not true at all.

The Pubs have many thoughts and flavors in their Party. The have MAGA, the never Americans Party... The RINO Party... the Establishment Party...the Corporations Party. The War Mongering Party... And the Pubs have their hardest working group of all the never Trump-er Party.

The Dems are all communists that must comply, or be ostracized.

Who is advocating for anybody to be removed? Tulsi Gabbard has a right to call herself a Democrat, if she wants. I'm saying good riddance to her. The fact that I don't want to share a party with people who oppose LGBTQ rights is my perspective. It has no impact on their party registration.

We all have our own views of the world, but I am not seeing the republicans the same way. How many Republican congressmen have been re-elected after publicly criticizing Trump? How many are pro-choice? How many support Black Lives Matter?

I think the answer to each of these is a fairly small number.

I think we are talking at cross purposes. I understand that you didn’t remove her from the party. I am talking about your perspective, as you are the one that said you don’t want her in the party.

My perspective is my perspective. If other people don't want me in the party, oh well. Doesn't change how I feel about Tulsi.

None of those Pubs better support Bolshevik Loving Marxists... it's a scam for the Dems and their election coffers. It's NOT about black lives... no financial support directly to them either. Like I said before, it's a scam.

Killing babies is not a "diversity" that I would vote for...

And Trump and MAGA had the Israelis and many of the predominately Muslim nations agreeing to peace deals in the White House. That was HUGE... 'YUGE" deal.

The world was at peace, and jobs and pay were abundant, plentiful. But please feel free to tell us what you didn't like about American peace and posterity during a MAGA Presidency.

Any Pub that criticized American prosperity under Trump/MAGA should be kicked out of office for dereliction of duty to his/her constituents.

Im sorry. I think I’m doing a poor job communicating my intentions.

I’m not trying to say Tulsi deserves to be a democrat or that your perspective is illogical or illegal. I’m just trying to ponder how best to evaluate dissenting ideas. If the Democratic Party will have different views in 20 years (as has been true every 20 years thus far), then it clearly needs to be open to dissenting views. There often seems to be a delicate tension in allowing minority views while simultaneously respecting our basic core values, and I’m keenly interested in discussing the best routes to navigate these troubled waters.

She does not fit the MAGA Pubs... she could pass as a RINO.

@gtr2x care to elaborate on why you disagree with my statement?

I don't know the answer. As far as I am concerned, they have every right to be in the party and present their dissenting ideas, free speech and all. But I draw some lines in the sand and simply won't bend on them.

Don’t know why I posted this but it seems to me that we’re becoming “way” more equal over time, as well as being more accepting of others we disagree with(politics/gender issue/abortion etc) but the rhetoric is becoming much worse. Both sides are to blame

This is exactly what I am talking about. You claimed republicans welcome diverse views, but when asked about three current issues, you replied that anyone with dissenting opinions shouldn’t be welcome in the party.

This is the kind of stuff that makes it obvious this is just a publicity stunt. She claims that the Democratic Party hates freedom, hates the Constitution ... but she just now leaves the party?
And of course, she gives no details to back up her claims. Just the boilerplate extremist stuff.

Tulsi Gabbard speaks out after leaving 'woke' Democratic Party: My 'loyalty' is to the country, not the caucus

While I don't agree with everything Tulsi Gabbard says, I think it is wrong to write her off as viable figure in our politics. She is one of the few who actually served in Iraq and continues to serve to this day. And to be fair, there are lots of people on the left who will vote Republican next month, because they feel like the Democrats have moved too far left. It makes sense there are going to be a few politicians who have that epiphany as well.
