I don't believe everything his side is putting out, only difference is I don't believe everything her side is putting out either. I think they were in some type of relationship and once the text messages are revealed(would be shocked if they aren't at some point) we will all know the where the truth lies.

 

Maybe if you started beating off the 30 minutes would go by faster. Or maybe they would hang up if they thought you were otherwise occupied.

 

I kind of doubt she would make all these public claims that she routinely rebuffed him if there are text messages that prove otherwise, but like I said, I'll change my mind on that if actual evidence is provided.

 

I don't know what evidence there may or may not be, but if they were in some sort of relationship, I feel like he'd have some flirty texts from her, that one or more people would have known about it, or something.

 

Ok, but she didn't have a job with the school, I don't even know if she works for anyone but herself. He has an employer, and everything he did was enough to get most people fired.

 

You have one side's evidence and are dismissing some huge red flags in her case. So you think every person that makes public claims is speaking truthfully? I believe the word to describe you is gullible.

 

IF Nick Saban did this he wouldn't be fired in my opinion. Just like in life, if your problems outweigh your worth, they will get rid of you. Again, IF Tucker went 11-1 the past few years as well he wouldn't be fired IMO. But he has been awful and MSU saw an easy way out like UF did with Sharky. Simple as that.

 

He was considered a good coach and was not on the hot seat, I'm not sure they were itching to fire him but just didnt want to trigger a buyout. They are certainly wary of bad PR given all the stuff that has gone down at that school and probably werent going to blow this off. His job was definitely safer than Coach Mac's before the shark photo. Anyways your "if he was Saban" is purely hypothetical, there is only one of those guys. Joe Paterno went down, if it was bad enough Saban would fall too.

 

If this is true, it alone raises other questions in my mind. First, what 51 year old man brags about having phone sex? Secondly, how many married men would brag about having an affair with a woman with whom he also has a professional relationship?

 

To be clear, I'm referring to his communication to her directly, not to other ppl. I say 'brag' TIC, bc thsts how she knew he was spanking off. He boldly proclaimed to her, that he was rubbing one out.

No, she provided a private text message to a friend where she clearly says she wasn't interested in him, and told him so, and I can't really imagine any reason for that text to exist unless you want to claim it's some sort of elaborate long con ... Instead of what it appears to be, and what it often is, powerful male not taking "no" for an answer.

Meanwhile, you are believing the guy who admitted to calling a university business vendor at midnight -- someone that he had previously talked to about once a month -- and masturbating while on the phone because you think they had a secret loving relationship. And you are calling other people "gullible"... LOL.

Only one Saban? You think Duke would've fired Coach K when he was coaching for this? Hell, USC wouldn't fire Riley for something similar IMO. And zero chance Uga would fire Smart for something like this.

I think if it was bad enough, anyone would lose their job. No one is bulletproof. If Saban was caught or credibly accused of sexually abusing an athlete, it wouldn't matter how many titles he's won (though there would be numerous cretins defending him or attacking the accuser). I also tend to to think guys like Saban are the most boring people in the world, who don't know how to have "fun," so its kind of like wondering what would happen if Tim Tebow was caught in a hotel room with crack and hookers. On the other hand, someone like Mel Tucker seems like a bozo who cant control himself.

 

This is nothing like that so of course if Saban did something to a student athlete he would be fired. I thought we were having an apples to apples convo. You went for the apples to Beef jerky.

 

Sexual harassment is pretty common ... doesn't seem hard to believe. Oh ... and then there is that part about him admitting it, so yeah, I guess I do think that.

 

He admitted they were in a consensual relationship. At least try to be honest. I know, it's hard for you.

A consensual relationship is a two way street, one person can't "admit" it was consensual when the other person is denying it. That's not how "consensual" works. The male saying "she wanted it" doesn't make it true. At least try to be honest. I know, it's hard for you.
