Days later Alexei Navalny, the Russian opposition leader, is killed: "The whole thing is barbaric and awful. No decent person would defend it."

During his trip to Russia Carlson says: “Coming to a Russian grocery store—the ‘heart of evil’—and seeing what things cost and how they live, it will radicalize you against our leaders,” the former Fox News host claimed. “That’s how I feel, anyway: radicalized. We’re not making any of this up, by the way. At all.”
He continued: “If you take people’s standard of living and you tank it through filth and crime and inflation, and they literally can’t buy the groceries they want, at that point maybe it matters less what you say or whether you’re a ‘good person’ or a ‘bad person,’” he continued. “You’re wrecking people’s lives and their country. And that’s what our leaders have done to us.”

Amongst folks pointing out that most russians spend 50% or more of their income on groceries and that goods in poorer countries are often cheaper, Thom Thillis, Republican of North carolina says:

“The Soviets had a term for people like Tucker: useful idiots.”

If somebody defends the undemocratic, murdering, freedom denying, religion denying, autocratic, regime that is Russia, either intrinsically or for invading Ukraine, you should know that the person is either a useful idiot for Russia, has ulterior motives for the United States, or both.

 

And if he says it, it must be true. How can anyone possibly doubt him?

I was skeptical, but he had me at the Dilbert guy endorsement. You can’t argue against that. It’s rock solid.

 

I seriously doubt Putin is a Christian. I am sure he claims to be one much like Trump probably does, but people are known by their fruit. The KGB was one of the most immoral corrupt organizations in the history of the world, and that is where Putin came from. Anyone who knows the KGB's history knows the blatant disregard for the sanctity of life that organization had. The assassination of political opponents and the invasion of Ukraine show that a leopard does not change its spots. Putin does not value human life in the same way that Xi Jinping does not value human life. Additionally, the legacy of communist disinformation that we have from the historical record also shows there is a deep blatant disregard for truth by communist regimes, which I have seen no evidence that Russia has changed in any way. Truth has no value in communist regimes, only power does.

Having said that you are not wrong about the nature of the relationship between the corporate world and the Democratic Party, especially the main stream media. There is a nasty form of collusion and cooperation between the two, when the original design was one of accountability between the press and the government. There is no accountability for the DNC in the corporate media. They simply spout whatever they think is the most advantageous narrative for their team at any given time.

 

You are right on in the first paragraph. The second paragraph is greatly exaggerated but there’s a shred of truth in there.

A new poster shows up out of the blue spreading disinformation and singing the praises of Vladimir Putin and Russia. Hmmm….

 

There is an embedded assumption there that it is in the DNC's best interest for Biden to run again. Lets see who is on the ballot in November, and we can revisit the idea whether that article is in the best interest of the DNC.

There is also the issue of the accessibility of the article from the front page. Did they push that story to the top? Was it somewhere that is easy to find? On February 9th after the article was published could you find that story linked anywhere on the home page of CNN.com?

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. If Biden isn't the nominee then CNN has been doing factchecks since his inauguration just to help the DNC remove him? Is that it?

Don't know where or when it ran when the article came out Feb. 8. But the fact is that CNN,for example, has called Biden to task for his falsehoods, inaccuracies, exaggerations, etc., many times. To pretend otherwise is to simply ignore reality.

May I recommend asking if you can get transferred to a message board of a college with lower entrance requirements than UF? You may find more people who welcome the "truth."
