To hold up military promotions while pandering to the Alabama Bubbas is beyond the pale. What an arrogant and smug asshole. How dare he diminish or military and thereby threaten our security in service to his position on abortions, a position he probably doesn’t really care about and which is shared by only a small minority of our citizens!
