Admitted to a felony. Now the AG doesn't have to lay out their case in advance of djt trial. Giuliani and Eastmen are really squirming about now

Here are the details. Admitted to a felony but also avoids jail time. The next step is to get other, lower levels with charges to agree to pleas with felonies, and either avoid jail time, or minimal lock-up time. Line them all up and makes it easier to go after the bigger fish, especially the orange colored one.

The problem for some of the lower level folks: I'm not sure that they can give up the really big fish in this. Getting pleas from middle management in this alleged conspiracy (and they now have 2 in 2 days from that level) might restrict how much the prosecution is motivated to make deals, as those are likely the people the little fish could give up.

trump will say he relied on the lawyers to know the law and he didn’t think lawyers would break the law (no, really). The lawyers will say they advised him in the strongest possible terms that it might violate the Constitution What will jurors believe?
    Who cares? Convict them all.

Eric Herschmann's advice to John Eastman comes immediately to mind.
Conservative lawyer John Eastman was told to 'get a great f-ing criminal defense lawyer': House January 6 testimony
Seems the Herschmann who was a White Lawyer at the time was really prescient.

I was going to warn you about your language last night but I thought I would just wait and see how it was treated coming from an anti Trumper.
As I suspected it got right past moderation. Maybe I read the rule wrong but anytime I have posted F with *** behind it I was deleted or edited at least.

From the thread titled Rules 1/17/2023
    B. Profanity is not permitted, everybody slips once in a while... The occasional "hell", "damn", "ass" “shit” etc... are fine, just not every other word of each post. The F word, even with symbols "F#%*" is never permitted. G.D. is not permitted. WTF is allowed as the F could be what Frig, but on the other hand MILF is not allowed, as the F is always the F bomb.

Only a few years back evangelicals would have run from him in disgust. Now, not so much

I remember that when Bill Clinton was president some prominent Evangelicals, Franklin Graham coming immediately to mind said that the personal moral behavior of the president mattered. When he ended up endorsing Trump Graham said that Trump's behavior was a matter between him and God.
Leaders should have high standard, says Graham says after lamenting Clinton | Baptist Press

Chesboro was sporting a black left eye in court today. Beating himself up over previous life decisions?

Apparently, Trump would never allow this picture to be taken. Among all of Trump's childish insecurities, he is most proud of his height, and will not allow anyone else who is taller than he is to be photographed standing next to him if at all possible. It has caused him to have a feud with, of all people, his son Barron, who is now 17 years old or so and is about 6'8" tall. Apparently, the Dunce known as the Donald cannot be seen in public with his own son since leaving the White House because of this issue. Maybe he could rig his son up with some restrictive brace that makes his walk with his knees bent and his back stooped over . . .

A picture was somehow taken at Ivana Trump's funeral, with Melania standing between them.
