They can be single issue voters who are easy to manipulate if given no alternative. Abortion was such an issue in 2016, immigration was another. Some are dyed in the wool life-long Rs who would have the vapors at the mere thought of voting for a Dem. A person’s character and humanity supersedes political leanings.

    More Russian hoax.

GOP operative sentenced to 18 months for funneling Russian money to Trump

On Friday, a federal judge in Washington, DC sentenced a veteran GOP operative to 18 months in prison for funneling $25,000 from a Russian businessman to Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Jesse Benton, a longtime aide to both Ron and Rand Paul, was convicted in November on six related charges. The court found that he and another GOP operative accepted $100,000 from Roman Vasilenko,

Do you think there has been even one moment of one day of his sick and twisted life where he had the thought, "boy, this isn't great for me but it's ok because it helps whomever/whatever." ?

Precisely. Laws apparently don’t matter to the GOP faithful if they involve Donald Trump.

Judge rules Donald Trump defrauded banks, insurers as he built real estate empire

NEW YORK (AP) — A judge has ruled that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House.

Judge Arthur Engoron, ruling Tuesday in a civil lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general, found that the former president and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing.

The decision, days before the start of a non-jury trial in Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit, is the strongest repudiation yet of Trump’s carefully coiffed image as a wealthy and shrewd real estate mogul turned political powerhouse.

Beyond mere bragging about his riches, Trump, his company and key executives repeatedly lied about them on his annual financial statements, reaping rewards such as favorable loan terms and lower insurance premiums, Engoron found.

Apparently, this gun store was where the guy who murdered 3 black people in Jax FL Dollar Store bought his AR-15. He painted a swastika on it. Coincidence?

Proof that he is the poor victim?

This will have to trigger payment of a lot of debt.

Who does this get appealed to and what are the odds the appeal gets heard?

Wouldn't surprise me if all value had already been removed from those companies.

Trump is found liable for fraud in New York civil case

NEW YORK, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Donald Trump and his family business were found liable for fraud on Tuesday by a New York judge in state Attorney General Letitia James' civil lawsuit accusing the former U.S. president of illegally inflating his assets and net worth.
The decision was issued by Justice Arthur Engoron of the New York state court in Manhattan.
