another person who’s career and life (and family) now have to answer to issues of shame and dishonor because they worked side by side with Dear Leader.

Working on an insanity defense I guess. “If he can believe he weighs 215, he can believe anything!” Or maybe just a middle finger to the entire process. “Yeah, I’m gonna keep lying and you can’t do a damn thing about it.”

Which half? The country is divided, quite literally in half. This is why Trump is becoming more popular. The attempted prosecution of people who have done basically the same thing that nearly all politicians have done before him. The more the left indicts him, the more popular he gets. He's already using this to his advantage. Democrats didn't learn anything from Trumps win or his loss. They had him exactly where they wanted him and they decided to try to put him behind bars for political BS. I've never been a Trump guy and still not but this will not end well. If you think the Republicans went crazy during Jan 6, what do you think will happen if you try to put Trump in jail for LIFE?

The funny thing is most of you apologize for criminals en masse but here we are with a large swath of leftists actively hoping and praying that Trump is in jail for the rest of his life. He should never be allowed to be president again but what you guys are trying to do is no different than what Putin just did to the Wagner Group leader. BTW, I have never said "lock her up" so bark up someone elses tree with that. They should all be in jail (IMO, both sides) or none of them should go to jail for political speech.

This is a dangerous line to cross... he was easily beatable again if Joe freakin Biden could beat him even with the small positive things Trump did economy wise. Our economy was booming and most people vote with their wallets. He still lost... all you had to do was beat him again but now you better hope and pray that these charges stick... or maybe not.

We all know there will be riots and burning of cities and you all will be right there cheering on the criminals and lawlessness, you know, like the criminal you guys are trying to put in jail for life? As long as its in the name of activism and justice its all good.

Hypocritical BS at its finest and I wouldn't expect any less from Too Hot.

Yes, Yes... hit me with the "come on mans" and dislikes and disagrees.

Watch how alienating half the country (the half with guns) and politically prosecuting their leader and sending him to jail for life goes for the left (and the future of this country).

Either we are a nation of laws. Or we're not. I'm all for not enforcing unjust laws, but I find our election laws not only just, but sacrosanct. What does it say about our democracy if we let Trump's autogolpe attempt go unpunished?

I'm not talking about killing Trump. That's what Putin did with his opponent. That's not how our system works, however. Trump walks around free, and instead of being assassinated, is facing criminal charges. How is this equivalent? It's not.

If bringing justice to Trump starts a civil war with Trump's Meal Team Six MAGAts, so be it. They will be bought to justice too. And they are not the only ones with guns.

Trump is innocent until proven guilty and doing whatever he wants tonight. He’s definitely not dead. I don’t get this analogy. Also, why shouldn’t Trump be “allowed” to be president again in your view?

If he is in jail for life, thats effectively killing him. I admit, not apples to apples.

I personally think he has done enough to not be president but life in prison or any significant jailtime is straight up political BS and dangerous for the country. His economy was good and all that but we should be able to look up to a leader.

Either way, prosecuting him sets a nasty precedent going forward in an AI age where ANYTHING can be fabricated. To be clear, that is in reference to future not the past in any way.
