That is definitely one of my problems with him. He has a simple mind, yet thinks he knows more than his generals, scientists, etc.

Only thing he is good at is manipulating people and conning them.

Are today's aging republicans reverting to their childhood as they become more senile like Trump? Seems odd that a presidential candidate would be hawking merchandise as a significant part of his campaign message, when his campaign message is so dumbed down that only a child would find it reasonable. Is Mattel in charge of Trump's campaign?

More about Trump and the TV show "The Apprentice". The show basically faked Trump's success and created the monster of Trump the arrogant politician. Trump was essentially broke when the show started, irrelevant in New York real estate, and generally a failure. Other real estate moguls either refused to do business with him, or they took him to the cleaners. The boardroom on the show was a set, because Trump's actual boardroom was so shabby. The kind of ideas that he tried to contribute to the show included things like pitting a group of white contestants against black contestants, which horrified the producers. It turns out that that was one of the few things that Trump is good at: pitting people against each other for his own profit.

Former Trump supporters are in agreement: Trump needs to go to jail. I never voted for Trump, but I agree with them. Many republicans do not like seeing the party become "Russia's GOP".

And he’s not alone: Outside Independence Hall, Salon spoke with a literal busload full of disaffected Republicans who plan to take their party back — by voting blue in November. “Let’s let’s say it’s Los Angeles, San Diego, and they just decide … ‘Oh, we’re gonna get rid of…history,” Kilmeade posed. “We got new history. This is America built off the backs of slaves on stolen land, and that curriculum comes in.”

Trump manages to offend Japanese-Americans. He actually compared his January 6 rioters that were arrested to people in Japanese internment camps, indicating that either the rioters were falsely imprisoned, or the Japanese were guilty of trying to overthrow the U.S. government. For some reason, Japanese-Americans did not appreciate the comparison. Trump is such an idiot.

It’s a night-and-day difference what happened,” David Inoue, executive director of the Japanese American Citizens League, said in a statement to The Washington Post. “Japanese Americans’ whole families were incarcerated without any sort of trial — their own crime was they were of Japanese descent.”

“For these January 6 people, they have had their day in court, they’ve either been indicted or convicted of crimes, and that is why they’re being incarcerated,” Inoue added.

Trump, who appeared Friday in an interview on “The Dan Bongino Show,” questioned why those prosecuted for their actions during the Jan. 6 riots were still being held after a Supreme Court ruling in June found an obstruction law used to charge scores of rioters was improperly applied.

Trump insults autoworkers in an attempt to win votes in Michigan. Says that a child could assemble cars. Apparently, he thinks that making a car is no different than playing with tinker toys. Not sure how stupid you'd have to be to vote for Trump after he says something like that about your profession. Time to send Trump to the old folks' home, not the White House. Although, it might be necessary for him to swing by the Big House for a while.

When Stephen Miller, a former advisor to Trump, rushed in to defend the former president, Cuban responded quickly. Miller suggested that Cuban had been “hoaxed” by a “deceptively edited clip” and argued that Trump's comments were directed at European car manufacturers, not American workers.

Top fact-checker reveals which party lies more. Surprise--it's the republicans. Democrats lie 31% of the time, while pubs lie a whopping 55% of the time. This was for the 2016 - 2021 time frame. I would expect the number for republican lies to increase significantly since then, since many republicans are forced to kiss the ring and repeat Trump's lies.

By PolitiFact’s tally, the Republican party was actually lying “far more” than the Democrats – and since then, Adair, has found the disparity between the parties has only grown.

He can't stop lying publicly about how big his rallies are and that no one leaves before it ends. There is video of people waiting for the buses to go (when provided) as he is still talking.

Donald Trump has a long history of disrespect for deceased members of the military and immigrants. Nowhere did his disdain for the two groups meld more intensely than after the murder of U.S. Army soldier Vanessa Guillén, whom the former president called a “f***ing Mexican” when informed about the cost of her funeral, according to a bombshell report from The Atlantic on Tuesday.

Guillén was 20 years old when she was murdered in 2020 by a fellow soldier in Fort Hood, Texas. The high-profile case triggered a slew of investigations into allegations of sexual harassment and the mistreatment of enlisted women at the Army base. Guillén was the daughter of Mexican immigrants, but was born in Houston and thus an American citizen. Her parents were invited to the White House for a televised meeting with Trump, who promised that he would help “financially” with the funeral. Given the attention surrounding her murder, a public memorial service was held for Guillén, followed by a smaller burial attended by members of Houston’s city government.

But while Trump appeared magnanimous in public, what unfolded behind the scenes was a different story. According to contemporaneous notes and interviews obtained by The Atlantic, on Dec. 4, 2020, Trump asked members of his staff if he had been billed for the funeral. “What did it cost?” he asked.

When informed that the total costs amounted to $60,000, Trump was incensed. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a f***ing Mexican!” he reportedly told his then Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. “Don’t pay it!”
