Closing arguments finished yesterday. Jury deliberations started within the past hour or so after instructions from the judge.

 

This will be interesting to say the least as this is the only trial that will be completed before the election. The other trials won't happen at all if he is elected.

As the jury began deliberating the case, the former president griped to reporters that the famed Catholic missionary “could not beat these charges.”

He continued to rant:

“I mean that: Mother Teresa could not beat those charges, but we’ll see,” Trump said. “We’ll see how we do. It’s a very disgraceful situation. Every single legal scholar said there’s no case and it shouldn’t be brought.”

However, the former president declined to answer a reporter who asked, “Do you mean you’re holier than Mother Teresa?”

 

It looks like there is an organized disinformation campaign to try promote hatred and perhaps violence about the trial and Justice Merchan.

 

Obviously they're wrong. Trump has made it quite clear that Biden is throwing people in jail for posting memes he doesn't like. That's why we have fewer conservatives on Too Hot. Biden has them all in the slammer.

I was wondering why we suddenly were inundated with New York Criminal Law experts around here who appear to have a legal education consisting of the depth of a couple hundred characters.

I see that. They really are just so darkly deceitful, really evil the way they have no conception of Truth and just try to foment violence

 

Not so sure Georgia puts a potus elect, much less a sitting potus on trial.

 

I have been wondering if the jury might split the baby. Can they convict him of misdemeanors while acquitting him of the felony charges?
