A special grand jury that investigated election interference by former President Donald J. Trump and his allies in Georgia recommended indictments of multiple people on a range of charges in its report, most of which remains sealed, the forewoman of the jury said in an interview today.

“It is not a short list,” the forewoman, Emily Kohrs, said, adding that the jury had appended eight pages of legal code “that we cited at various points in the report.”

She declined to discuss who specifically the special grand jury recommended for indictment, since the judge handling the case decided to keep those details secret when he made public a few sections of the report last week. But seven sections that are still under wraps deal with indictment recommendations, Ms. Kohrs said.

Asked whether the jurors had recommended indicting Mr. Trump, Ms. Kohrs gave a cryptic answer: “You’re not going to be shocked. It’s not rocket science,” adding “you won’t be too surprised.”

Have any of the defendants tried the "yes I was at the Capitol, and yes I went up to the entrance, but someone wearing an earpiece pushed me in" defense yet?

I can see that you have not been paying any attention to the ONE SIDED witch hunt going on in this banana republic style, so called hearings.

I've seen my dad wear one in the deer woods. If you keep a handheld on you, you can leave the truck and walk down the road or into the woods, still listen to comms, and not be blaring rednecks hollering over the radio for all the critters in the woods to hear.

I'm talking about actual court cases where people's freedom for the next several years was on the line. If they had a viable defense that they did nothing wrong, they would have used it. Sometimes you don't have to overthink things.

I do not even know of that court cases have been released yet. If seems odd to me that in some very important court cases that judges seem to be able to keep the general public from seeing anything on SOME court case.

Now... that does NOT mean they are not out there on this particular event, but as I have said, I have not seen them.

I'd also like to see the transcripts of the Epstein's case, and I'd also like to see his partners court room case transcripts too. Secret courtroom cases (no transcripts released to the public) are DANGEROUS to a Constitutional Republic.

I can save you the trouble of reading almost 200 different court transcripts. If any of the defendants were acquitted because they were pushed into the building by undercover law enforcement that person would have been on right wing cable news 24/7. If it were true, we would know about it.

Hard to tell from the video because of the distance but the "earpiece" of the supposed "federal agent" bears a strong resemblance to this one (FYI, it's a bluetooth earpiece", commonly used by certain cell phone users).

I believe it's more of a situation of "underthinking" things.

They are called trials. Each defendant has been or is represented by counsel, unless they opted not to be, and each has had an absolute right to a jury trial unless he or she waived it. They have enjoyed all the protections afforded by the US Constitution, federal statutes and the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure. NOTHING has been conducted in "banana republic" style, no one has been denied due process. The MTGs screaming denial of due process do not have a clue what the concept means, it is embarrassing to listen to.

Over 1000 (and hopefully counting) have been charged and of those, over 476 have pleaded guilty. Here's what happened to them:
At least 476 rioters have pleaded guilty for their role in the Capitol insurrection so far. This table shows them all.

Here is the status of everyone that has been charged SO FAR,
    Capitol Breach Cases

If people were forced into the Capital against their will, motions would have been filed and defenses would have been raised arguing not only lack of mens rea (where an element of the crime,) but an even more fundamental defense....no actus reus. The fact those defenses have not been raised in pleadings, motions, arguments to juries or in public statements is telling.

I suspect that if video from the vantage point of the Capital immediately outside the door of "your" video was available, it would depict a crush of people trying to get in and having to climb over various objects with "patriots" on the inside trying to help move the throng in. As to that woman's self-serving nonsense (assuming its real,) what was she doing at the door to begin with if an innocent bystander that just got sucked in? Any law abiding person with a marginally functioning brain would have gotten away from those doors and windows as quickly as possible once the building had been breached.

Your assessments of our judicial system are unwarranted, especially since you lack the education and training to make them.

grifters going to grift. didn't think it was legal to use campaign funds for personal legal bills but since when has alittle thing like the law impacted his decision making process. I'm just surprised they actually paid the lawyers

Trump Used $10 Million of Donor Money to Pay His Personal Legal Bills (msn.com)

Donald Trump spent $10 million of his political action committee’s money to pay for his personal legal bills in 2022, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.

The Times notes Trump’s Save America PAC spent $16 million total on legal payments, and that although some of that money went to lawyers representing Trump allies, the majority of it went to lawyers representing Trump himself as the former president has fought a variety of investigations. The $10 million figure represents nearly 20 percent of the PAC’s total expenditures.

It’s unclear how Trump’s 2024 presidential candidacy will impact his ability to use political donations to handle his personal legal needs. The Federal Election Commission prohibits declared candidates from using campaign funds for personal use, but Adav Noti of the Campaign Legal Center told the Times that the FEC doesn’t always enforce its rules, and that there’s a “gray area” regarding what is allowed.
    ..............................................
Trump has a long history of using political donations to enrich himself, outside of using it to defend himself in court. Save America PAC’s fundraising emails are notoriously aggressive and misleading, to the point that Trump had to repay millions to donors who had been tricked into signing up for recurring payments. HuffPost reported earlier this month that the Save America PAC spent nearly $1 million at Trump’s own properties over the past two years. The Jan. 6 committee revealed last year that following the 2020 election Trump raised around $250 million for an “election defense fund” that didn’t actually exist, and that some of that money went to his hotels. The Daily Beast reported last week that the Justice Department is now investigating where exactly all the money went.

Newsmax's Benny Johnson: Georgia grand jury forewoman is “borderline demonic” and “demon-possessed”

Charlie Kirk claims the Georgia grand jury forewoman “actually is a witch. She's into witchcraft.”

Next time I'm in a bank, and I see someone wearing an earpiece, I'm going to try and rob it and use the, "The guy with the earpiece said it was ok!" defense and see how far I get! Because we know it's all about the blue tooth earpiece.
