I don't know about that. He just accused the prosecutor's office of prosecutorial misconduct...without any evidence. That is not something you do on a whim.

I agree, which is out of character for him, hence I think he did that to mollify the orange one. I doubt he stretches the envelope like that again regardless of what Trump tells him to do.

that didn't take long..this judge has no patience for djt, love it. Can djt keep his mouth shut about stormy, cohen, and the rest of the cast of characters on the witness list? no way..what does the judge do? surely there are betting odds on this somewhere

Judge in New York hush money case places limited gag order on Trump (msn.com)

The judge in Donald Trump's criminal hush money case in New York has granted the Manhattan district attorney's request for a limited gag order on the former president.

The order, by Judge Juan Merchan, restricts Trump’s public statements about witnesses and others.

This probably did the trick - singling out the Judge and his daughter. Hopefully this judge means what he says and actually treats Trump like any other criminal defendant. Absolutely insane that he keeps getting treated with kid gloves when he has exponentially more reach to put various parties in harm's way.

Jean Carroll may very well get another "bump" in that Trump case, but hey, no problem for the 10 Billion dollar man!

    yep, nothing subtle about that.

I don't get the sense that this guy is going to treat him any different. I suspect the over under on the first fineable offense will be about 48 hours and djt will go all weekend before he gets slapped with a $$ amount on Monday. it's the second offense that will be interesting to see what the judge does during a campaign. House arrest? no outside access? I think that would be a dream scenario for Trump so he can go play golf and duck out while playing the victim card before and after. contempt with sentencing post verdict. time/penalty added to whatever sentence is decided?

I love the idea of Stupid ‘“Christians” buying this in droves. Even funnier than Mike “Huckabilly” shilling “A kids guide to Donald Trump”. I expect they’ll die penniless but I still bristle that blue staters will have to support them in their impoverishment.

Because of course they did: SCOTUS postpones ruling on immunity for their orange god. Not surprised, just disappointed at these toadies.
    Justice delayed is justice denied.

Would love to know more of what is behind the delay. I feel pretty confident, even without knowing what's on their docket, that this is the most important issue before the Supreme Court. Would be good to know if we're cool with President's committing crimes so that Biden can just coordinate a slate of fake electors to stay in office if he were to lose.

Jon Stewart found to have overvalued his NYC home by 829%

Jon Stewart is facing online backlash after the comedian opined on air this week that Donald Trump’s civil real estate case for overvaluing his properties was “not victimless” — when it turns out the price of a previous home sale finds Stewart doing the exact same thing, The Post has learned.
