I get the governor thing, just don't see why it has to be a southerner especially since there is only 1 Dem southern governor. That's pretty limiting. Still haven't heard a name from anyone as to what Dem could have beaten trump. Maybe I'm wrong but I think his Kool aid was just too strong.
To be clear As bad as Trump is.. and we are reminded I. Every thread certain posters log into just how wretched he is.. as bad as that and you don’t think the Dems could have found someone in their bullpen to beat him? You really think Kamala (or Hoe) was the best the Dems have/had? If so what do you think will happen I four years? Someone magically appears? Is the future really that dim?
Sure the Dems have to things to figure out. It's all opinion at this point but I'd say it was more about Trump in this election.. He is a master salesman. As to delivering on his promises in his first term that may be the perception of his supporters but that certainly wasnt the reality. Will see how term #2 goes. He's basically got 2 years to do anything he wants until the midterms hit.
A master salesman that got FEWER votes this time than last? A master salesman that lost votes? Don’t kid yourself. This is all about the Dems and their lack of a message, a candidate and a plan. They took the easy way and hoped it would work instead of working. Kamala was the easy choice.. not a good choice. And if this was truly the best the Dems had.. what happens in 4 years?
Again, who? He's easy to toss out crap, but got a name??? Most likely could have been someone better had Biden bailed earlier but with only months left most serious contenders were not gonna enter the race. 4 years is a long time, I have no doubts there will be a reset and the Dems will be prepared to run against Vance and the maga record. Hell, I think the midterms in 2 years will be very telling.
