And Kamalamadingdong's repeated lies were not effective but still millions of people believed them and voted for her. If she weren't such a terrible candidate maybe more would have believed her.

Because they suck worse than he is. They just can't see it with their smug ideals. Time to self reflect and come back to center, we need a strong Democratic party.

 

Said it in four or five other posts. No Democrat could have beaten Trump and any other Republican would have won the election probably by a larger margin than Trump. In American politics it's almost always the economy the one exception being if Americans are dying in an unpopular war. Trump won based on a single metric, the difference between prices in 2020 and 2024. To Trump's hardcore supporters immigration and the border may have been the overriding issue; to swing voters who made the difference it was the economy and those two issues weren't mutually exclusive. To a lot of voters it was both.

 

Why don't you post stats that are current and reflect what has actually happened these last four years? Or just open your eyes and ears to current reality of who is being let into this country and the crimes being committed. All your 2020 graph shows is that Trump let in "good" illegals. The last four years have been very different and everyone feels it and sees it.

 

Don't be like this. Be the person you would want the other side to be if your side had won.

Why don't you post ANY kind of data that shows why you disagree rather than close your eyes and ears to the provided data. Your feelings that cats are being eaten is well.... disturbing. Perhaps while searching for your facts, find the explanation of why the immigration issue wasn't fixed in the felon's first term, but he shot down the bipartisan legislation to address it last term.

 

I don’t think his lies were effective. I think people don’t care what he says. 40% of the electorate is baked into who they’re going to vote for no matter what. A few flipped away because he’s a tool to the dems but the vast majority just hate $15 Chipotle lunches.
