Maybe some mass deportations and the resulting negative economic impact might finally end the hyperbole and motivate politicians to pass a workable immigration policy. ( Optimistic, I know )

In an interview with CBS News's 60 Minutes in October, prior to Trump's election, Homan indicated he would seek to target non-criminal immigrants who are in the country illegally, after first prioritising "public safety threats" and "national security threats".
Such an approach would reverse Biden administration policies that direct Ice to focus on deporting serious criminals, national security threats and recent border crossers.

Homan has said he didn’t write the policy memo that led to the separations, but he was one of three officials who signed it. He said he signed it “hoping to save lives”. Homan indicated that he would not seek to re-instate that policy. I really don’t think the admin has thought this through all the way, but purely from an academic perspective I’m curious to see how they operationally do this, how much it costs, and what it does to the ag sector and our food supply/costs.

That's an awfully strong position to take! It seems to ignore Jesus's warning to 'care for the least of us'. I must admit that I fall short myself, but I've yet to advocate for incarcerating millions of people who fled here for a better life, and who are, on the whole, enriching our culture.

But do you acknowledge that the entire Supply chain for your Firehouse subs was straight up migrant labor? So your prices on input costs were driven down by migrant labor and allowed you to charge a subsidized price for your sub?

Unlikely. You got your meats, cheese, bread flower, toppings, etc from a downstream vendor of a vendor of a vendor who has migrant labor. Along the supply chain someone white washed it — so “entire” might be an overstatement in your case and my strawman.
