I don't know how old the University of North Florida poll is but I heard pollster Richard Barus and Nobby Barnes referring to it on an election odds podcast yesterday. The UNF poll is also called the PORL poll.

It’s crazy that people still trust Trump on the economy when literally every metric shows otherwise. He took Obama’s economy and ran it into the ground while tripling out defect and being awful at adding new jobs, but he’s great at running the economy. Lol.

 

I looked it up. This poll was done in July. Would be nice if we had something more recent.

If Harris had come out swinging like a real candidate, perhaps she wouldn't have had her peak before her own convention. By coming out swinging, I mean she should have done every interview she could get and held a few long press conferences. We didn't get to see her in a campaign, so naturally, many of us have questions. It was already bad enough she was gift-wrapped the easiest road possible to her nomination. Much easier than any candidate has had in our lifetimes. She felt so entitled that not only did we have to give her the nomination, we're not allowed to ask any questions either. GTFO with that nonsense. It was never going to manifest into anything. Democrats and the media thought we were too stupid to notice how awful Biden's cognitive decline had become. And now they think we are too stupid to see that Kamala is being propped up by smoke and mirrors.

OTOH, you have Trump who takes on all comers. He will answer questions from reporters he knows hate him. That's what we should have gotten and should be getting from Harris. Instead, she insults our intelligence by declining every interview. Finally cues one up on friendly CNN... had to have f'n Tim Walz there next to her. I mean, what in the actual **** do some of you see in her?

 

Looks like so far the RFK announcement has done nothing for Trump. Also, the Rasmussen Trump lead is down to +2 from +5 and they've been known to be off by several points, essentially showing a steady decline in Trump's chances.

Either way the race is too close for anyone to feel comfortable. If you were told that you had a 40% chance of losing your job you and a 69% chance of keeping your job you would be pretty worried

 

Real Clear Politics, which averages in the Rassmussen and Trafalgar polls with no bias adjustment, has Trump losing and barely hanging on to the 3 battle ground states he's ahead in.

Also, look at that favorability rating, Harris is almost into positive territory... That means all the people voting for Harris actually like her ...
