Now the German's themselves are blaming the Merkel regime:

Trump Vindicated: Merkel's Party Blamed for Causing Energy Crisis (breitbart.com)

Germany’s economy and climate minister has angrily lashed out at Angela Merkel’s party, accusing it of being responsible for “16 years of energy policy failure”.

While the ongoing gas crisis across Europe gets steadily worse, political tensions in Germany appear to be growing, with the country’s economic and climate minister, Robert Habeck, angrily lashing out at his political rivals in the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the party of former chancellor Angela Merkel.

They gave up nuclear energy for a promise of getting NG from a dictator and to use coal? Yeah, that sounds like a brilliant move on her part. I just know how it all went down. I did not read that article.

Breitbart aside, Trump was right about several things in Europe. He also railed them for not meeting their 2 percent military spending pledge, which now is important too.

See, post an accurate thread and I might even agree with you :)

This is the major issue the European nations are facing. You have the EU as well the individual nations involved with attempts at stop gap measures.

Any bets on which nations get the lions share of the available natural gas, oil and coal as the situation worsens? I'll say it now as it won't be a one for you, one for you, one for me type of situation. Some pencil pusher will make a determination on percentages which will not sit well with European nations.
