Yeah, imagine another politician denying that illegal immigrants are eating dogs in their city. But that ABC went to the trouble of getting fact checks ready for the debate and only using them on Trump is indicative of the hit job. Harris lied through her teeth dozens of times and dodged several questions. Bottom line, for the voters, no matter which side you lean, ABC did a horrible job with this debate. We didn't learn anything about either side.
The debate that never happened. Kamrade Kamala lied about herself and her record for 90 minutes. Clear why she agreed to ABC, no fact checking of her lies. Polls showing the voters wanted to hear her positions and comments on her record as VP got none of that from her in the non-debate. What a waste of 90 minutes.
Fracking was an innovation that mostly came into being on Obama’s watch (to the point we had so much excess natural gas in the early 2010’s it was literally being burned/flared off because of nowhere to store it). THIS is why energy prices were low for most of Obama’s term and even into Trumps term (at some point we started exporting and supply/demand normalized, so the conditions of “excess supply” went away). This normalization of supply/demand was actually starting to happen in Trumps term, before the pandemic crashed the global economy and sent energy to depths never seen before (oil futures crazily traded negative at one point). So… since the dems have not “banned fracking” while holding the White House for 12 of 16 years… I guess that one should surprise… nobody. That being said, not sure it’s wise to be gung-ho on fracking either. Some areas have had seezmic activity reported which is probably why some people oppose it. Like, I’d hope it’s something we all agree should be tightly regulated and studied to make sure we don’t randomly open up one of these somewhere in this country. Entering the 'Door to Hell'
I appreciate a man who is committed to truth. Which candidate should I support if truth is important to me?
I don't think she did as good as people think she did. She looked extremely nervous any time he went on the attack. Reflexively giving a look of scorn with her hand to her chin, but at the same time bouncing around all over the place as she did it. She was very nervous. I think Dick Morris has it right. She won the fight, but will lose the war. Her condescension was every bit as cringeworthy as Al Gore's condescending behavior in the Bush debates.
But only now do I fully comprehend that the most cogent answer to every.. single question is immigration. SMH
I went back and watched the debate. I think she did ok, definitely got better when she went on the offensive. He was clearly unhinged as usual and everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. But what I don’t know is if an undecided voter really gets that or they just see a guy confidently ranting about things and thinks some of what he says might be true.
I hate to be that guy, but I call it how I see it, as you know. America is simply not going to elect, as the first woman POTUS, someone who carries herself like Kamala Harris. She looked angry and bitter and couldn't take her eyes off of him anytime he talked. At least Hillary had the common sense to look straight ahead or down at her notes when he talked. Kamala doesn't present as a woman who has her shit together acting like that and bouncing around behind the podium like she just took a hit of blow. It's going to take a strong woman who is in command of herself and not given to gimmicky gestures and gesticulations, condescending glares like she's on some sort of fantasy power binge. Kamala ain't it. If Nikki Haley wasn't such a warmonger, she'd be an outstanding candidate for the first woman POTUS. She's confident and she can throw down without all the gimmickery.
Those pets were bad hombres. Liberal cities are overrun with cats and dogs and we need to build a wall!
Other than me, who would have believed that pubs would be baby killin' socialists? The fall or Roe. The rise of cowardice.
