The trick of debates: the other side is obviously going to say something about you, so just say “I have to respond to that” and the moderators will say “okay we’ll give you a minute to respond.”

 

That’s as close to admitting defeat as you will ever come. I can read between the lines. Cheer up. We got a new candidate after the last one.

We're f'd either way. Its amazing and sad that over the last 3 elections our best options were another Clinton, Biden, Kamala and Donald. How have we fallen so far that these are the legit options we have? America lost tonight.

He did well on the last couple of topics when he started finally paying attention and focusing.

He clearly wasn’t going to win on questions like “Vice President Harris, do you want to talk about what a threat to democracy Donald Trump is?,” he still hasn’t figured out what his position on abortion is, and he got distracted and talked about shit no one other than him cares about earlier in the debate, so the earlier part of the debate was rough (although ABC played into part of the narrative he wants to tell, which will mitigate some of that damage).

 

Damn trumps final statement is a kill shot.
