Many of the left leaners here defended him vigorously, until the debate. The “thanks Biden” threads/ posts were numerous, perhaps they were being sarcastic.
Not talking about the righties who were picking at him left and right.

 

And Dem lovers think anyone against the Dem platform is MaGA Trump lovers is just as tiring.

 

They had no choice but to replace him, just one week before he said it would take God himself to tell him to back out. Really just took the Dem powerbrokers and big money guys to do it.

He didn’t really pick Harris. She was the most likely choice and was the only one to get the treasure trove of campaign funds. Hard to say he picked her when there was a list of 1.

I really hope you don’t honestly think Biden had any key role in the hostage release, if you do I’ve got some great river front (at low tide) property for sale.

 

I agree with most of his policies. He was the guy holding the bag when global inflation hit following a once in a century global pandemic. It’s no surprise he’s unpopular. But I liked Biden fine as a president and respect him for stepping aside and doing the right thing.

He didn't do the right thing. He was forced out. The right thing woukd have been an open primary. Dems didn't do that

 

Agree on everything but the last. No German cooperation, no deal. German chancellor respect for Biden and Biden personal call definitely big factor in this happening

 

He will 100% debate her. Has to. It will be very highly rated because Harris frankly hasn't had to sit down and ask any hard questions since being named the nominee. I might actually tune in to watch the 1st debate, if nothing more for the laughs as both sides will lie and make shit up and both sides will claim victory unless trump has a stroke like biden did...

My perspective however is a party loses their ability to call out the opponent for not changing gears and debating the new opponent.

The democrats (finally) did the right thing.
And there is nothing wrong with that. That is until they immediately take a new high horse position about it

And just to be transparent, I was guilty of calling out a couple righty posters for what I thought were unfair posts about Biden. So I had it wrong too. But I wasnt in his inner circle seeing him day to day

Kudos for doing the right thing, but they shouldn't now jump on this "scared to debate" nonsense when they were scared to let Biden debate anymore
