Speaking of sickos on TH if I recall several posters suggested that the attack on Paul Pelosi was or may have been a rendezvous for gay sex gone wrong.

Well, it was a very odd situation, and I don't think will ever get truth about that, one thing for sure that guy was definitely has some serious issues. @rivergator and @VAg8r1 but doesn't even come close to what's happened to Trump and is still being pushed by the Wacko left. The DOJ is now assisting the unhinged leftist. Trump got another threat back in July, don't remember hearing about this one.

Idaho man charged with threatening to kill Trump in phone calls to Mar-a-Lago (msn.com)

An Idaho man has been charged with threatening to kill Donald Trump in phone calls made to the former president’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, according to court documents.

Warren Jones Crazybull, 64, of Sandpoint, made at least nine threatening phone calls to Trump’s home on July 31, according to a criminal complaint and affidavit that was first reported Monday by Forbes.

Let's see if I have this straight.

A kid fired shots into Trump's crowd and he "suffered" an ear injury that was 100% healed almost immediately though he wore an ear tampon for almost a week anyhow.

Also, an RFK, Jr. fan-type nut job somehow found out when he was playing golf at a not-Maralago course and camped out off of a hole with a rifle and was apprehended when Trump was 5 football fields away from him.

Yet, these incidents are worse than Paul Pelosi being hit multiple times in the head with a hammer, being put into critical condition and needing brain surgery to save his life?

Also, Trump goes online and threatens people who challenge him, their spouses and their children who all receive death threats from the MAGA faithful and we are supposed to feel empathy when he gets death threats? Every president gets death threats, it's an unfortunate part of the job. However, Trump creates more death threats than he receives.

At least the guy has an appropriate last name.

Not the first time presidential candidates have been threatened through phone calls.

Death threats against the president or former president are a very serious matter. Actual attempts at assassination are obviously far worse. Blaming them Biden or Harris or the media is conjecture.
Meanwhile, there have been death threats toward election workers all over the country. And I can't imagine anyone could try to claim they might have happened without Trump's phony claims about fraud.

US ‘intensely tracking’ ongoing threat by Iran against current and former US officials, Blinken says (msn.com)

"The US government is “intensely tracking” an ongoing threat by Iran against current and former US officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday.

“This is something we’ve been tracking very intensely for a long time, an ongoing threat by Iran against a number of senior officials, including former government officials like (former President Donald Trump) and some people who are currently serving in the administration,” the top US diplomat said in an interview with NBC’s “Today” show.

“It’s something we take very, very seriously. We’re looking at it very carefully,” Blinken said.

Law enforcement officials have been concerned about the persistent threat of Iran potentially attempting to assassinate former Trump officials and the former president himself, multiple sources familiar with the matter have previously told CNN. There also has been a noticeable surge of online messaging from Iranian accounts and state-backed media mentioning Trump, which has raised security concerns among US officials."

    But ..........

Trump assassination attempt: Inexperienced Secret Service agent flying drone called toll-free number for help (msn.com)

"A preliminary report on the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Trump from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs ripped into newly revealed missteps that went into the Secret Service's planning and execution of security at the event during which a spectator was killed, two others were seriously wounded and the GOP candidate was struck on the ear.

Among the key failures, an agent inexperienced with drone equipment called a toll-free tech support hotline for help after a request ahead of time for additional unmanned assets was denied, according to a preliminary summary of findings made public Wednesday. According to the committee, he had just an hour of informal training with the device.

"Multiple foreseeable and preventable planning and operational failures by USSS contributed to [Thomas] Crooks’ ability to carry out the assassination attempt of former President Trump on July 13," the preliminary report read. "These included unclear roles and responsibilities, insufficient coordination with state and local law enforcement, the lack of effective communications, and inoperable C-UAS systems, among many others."

"We have reviewed the interim report on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The weight of our mission is not lost on us and in this hyperdynamic threat environment, the U.S. Secret Service cannot fail. Many of the insights gained from the Senate report align with the findings from our mission assurance review and are essential to ensuring that what happened on July 13 never happens again," U.S. Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi responded Wednesday."

I'm sorry, it can't be both. I smell more BS and lies from the current administration. It never ends with lefties .... lies and BS.

Not sure why you are conflating two separate issues, specifically the threats from Iran and the documented incompetence of the Secret Service at the site of the first assassination attempt on the life of the former president. Are you implying that the incompetence of Secret Service was intentional and/or that the Administration isn't taking the threats from Iran seriously? Just asking.

Yeah, we have the truth. That is the point of a trial. You just don't like the truth because it makes you look worse for pushing things that weren't true. So, suddenly, we "don't know" when we actually do know.

You ever notice it's one side of the political spectrum here that reverts to tagging posts with bacon or COMs where they've had their rear ends handed to them because they've taken such a massive 'L'?

The grown up table is too challenging for them.

The third assassination plot to kill Trump the perpetrator being an Iranian agent. It hasn't received very much publicity because it didn't progress as far as the attempts by Crooks and Routh.
Iran, Trump, and the Third Assassination Plot
In the leaked document, Merchant [the Iranian assassin] described remotely scouting a Trump rally, then sending a written report on event security—how many guards, how many body scanners—back to Tehran. In secretly recorded meetings described by the FBI after his arrest, Merchant “games out the assassination” with the informant. The plan he details involved a crowd, a staged demonstration intended to serve as a distraction, a target at a podium, and “security all around.” Alerted to the Iranian plot well before Merchant’s arrest, the Secret Service increased protection of Trump—context that only amplified the agency’s failure when an assassin’s bullet grazed the former President at a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., on July 13.

The polls tell a different story. Current polls show 72% for Harris, which is 5% higher than what Biden received in 2020.

This is the self-described description of the source of the film.

I think that says it all.

By the way even if the digital creation accurately reflects the image in Crooks gun sight it really doesn't add anything that we didn't already know i.e. that Trump was extremely lucky that he managed to survive with only a minor wound to his ear.
