News is reporting that he is a convicted felon from North Carolina and living in Hawaii. Some of his charges are because he was a felon and had a firearm. Where did he get the rifle. Of course if he fly from Hawaii he had to get it where ever he has been since. He should not have passed a background check and news says FBI told them the type rifle he had is not for sale in Florida. That does not sound right to me. SKS is what they said in the report I read. Serial number scratched out. He sure knew when and where to wait to get a shot at Trump playing golf.

The not available in Florida is the media not knowing what the heck they’re talking about and misreading the charging affidavit. I explained what’s going on with that a page or so ago.

Affidavit confirms it’s an SKS - and they’re certainly available in Florida. What the affidavit actually says is that it wasn’t manufactured in Florida and thus has been in interstate commerce so the altered serial number statute (922(k), which has a “has, at any time, been shipped or transmitted in interstate or foreign commerce” requirement) applies.

 

Using this logic, someone who supports Vivik Ramaswamy is indeed a right leaning pub, so he’s a right leaning pub. Simple conclusion. Except this person is both of these people, so maybe not everyone fits this simple one or the other categorization.

And even if it is his, then supporting Biden was like his 4th choice of last resort, it would seem.

 

I mean, I think that’s true of essentially everyone who has ever supported a Biden presidential campaign, so can’t glean much from that.
