After being publicly humiliated and ridiculed by Donald Trump numerous times he is now grovelling at the feet of defeated indicted former president joining the ranks of Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and most recently Bill Barr among others, all of whom were once opponents and/or critics of Trump, were metaphorically castrated by the former president and have since joined the ranks of the Cult of the Donald.

Yes anything is possible and there is an even better example than Joe Biden. Even more amazing than a career politician being elected to the presidency (and among a certain segment of the electorate the term has become derogatory rather than a substitute for extensive experience) is the election of a reality television star with no experience in electoral politics who managed at least six businesses to bankruptcy and whose followers still believe that he is a successful businessman based largely on the image created by a television network to promote the reality television show in which he starred.
Not a stretch at all, just pointing out to VA that this is a common occurrence in politics that primary opponents say all kinds of nasty things about each other and then get in bed together before the general election.
