On the other hand it's not beyond the possibility that Trump's personal SCOTUS could revisit the issue of birthright citizenship much as they decided to revisit the issue of a woman's right to bodily autonomy when the overruled Roe v. Wade or when they created near absolute immunity for every act by a sitting president and extending that immunity to his post presidency. Keep in mind the the concept of birthright citizenship is based on an interpretation of the 14th Amendment. The Trump SCOTUS can always reinterpret the same provision based on the rationale that the provision of the 14th Amendment in question was intended to guarantee citizenship for the children of former slaves not to provide citizenship for the children of all aliens born in the US.
