So, with recruiting down and our military readiness subpar I would say that the folks who have come before him have done a piss-poor job. Why would we continue to appoint similar people? The American people are sick and tired of Washington DC telling us how much they love us and how hard they're working for us while the politicians get rich via insider trading and cushy jobs after government service.

It might be a royal mess-up on the part of Trump. The current guy is so good and so desperately needed that he can take a week off and have surgery and effectively be AWOL. It may be a swing and a miss or it may be a homerun - we will see. But, to continue the same ole same ole = insanity.
