he has something on them too??..or he is a MAGA favorite that has been neck deep in djt's arse from the get go..likely both..and the fact that the people willing to testify were teenage drug/sex toys with little credibility doesn't help with criminal prosecution that they wanted to pursue to begin with.

Lot of talk about Trump appearing at the UFC over the weekend with Elon, Dana White and company as a show of strength. I don't think he's going to back down on Gaetz. With the mandate Trump has, he has assumed the role of a boss. Certain posters here might want to clean up their posting habits. You never know when Gaetz or one of his cohort are watching.

It's getting better. That report has to be released/leaked, one way or the other.

"Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, former Rep. Matt Gaetz, allegedly paid for two women in 2019 to travel to New York to have sex, watch his appearance on Fox News, and attend the Broadway show "Pretty Woman," an attorney for the women told ABC News."

"In an interview with ABC News' Juju Chang, Florida attorney Joel Leppard revealed new details regarding his clients' closed-door testimony before the private bipartisan committee -- including that his clients told congressional investigators that Gaetz paid for them to travel across state lines to have sex on at least two occasions."

"The attorney also said that the women provided the committee with text messages they allegedly exchanged with Gaetz about the acquisition of drugs and payments that the attorney said were, in part, for sex."

They testified that they met up with Matt Gaetz in New York in January of 2019 for his appearance on Fox News ... Mr. Gates paid them for the tickets to come to New York for the trip," Leppard told Chang. "They were asked to go and have sex with Rep. Gaetz, and then they could go out and see a show that they wanted to see that night. So essentially, take care of things, and then later on, they could have their fun."

Here's how George Will so deliciously described Gaetz in today's WAPO:

"Matt Gaetz, an arrested-development adolescent with the swagger of a sequined guitarist in a low-rent casino, will not be confirmed."

    "sequined" is brutal!

Okay... here is the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me... you be the judge of this latest revelation. As I suspected, these charges were all made up and have been dropped for some time. The House "ethics" committee should drop this witch hunt probe too.

So Charlie Kirk isn't propaganda? Interesting.

I noticed that he didn't include the fact that Gaetz sent the first witness a large sum of money via Venmo. Then that witness sent the the exact same amount of money to the sex worker when she was 17 immediately afterwards. Why did Matt Gaetz do that?

Also, Greenberg is absolutely a scumbag. So why was Matt Gaetz such close friends with him that he was sending him large sums of money?

Then why did the DOJ completely DROP the charges over a year ago? They want Gaetz so badly they can taste it, but they have NOTHING on him. It's a completely fabricated story. He's not just not guilty of a crime, but he's completely innocent of that entire allegation. Even Tilly has to respect that. :D;)

Is the 'other side of the story' that sex trafficking and pedophilia is actually good?

I just curious, why do you think the Department of Justice and FBI “hate Gaetz”?

I absolutely agree. He is going all in with his picks and his agenda. Whether it’s good or not, at this point time will tell.

Just from a logical perspective, it’s bizarre that a faceless, massive organization with thousands of people would “hate” someone, particularly a rather unimportant congressman form most of his career who has accomplished nothing other than single-handedly removing the Speaker of the House. People have historically spoken of Gaetz in the same breath as Boebert and MJT in terms of intellectual firepower. His singular claim to fame is being a loudmouth troublemaker. Forgetting for the moment that he is not qualified to run the behemoth entity he is nominated—and he is being nominated solely as a means for Trump to middle-finger the government he will soon be running—there is no basis that I am aware as to why both the DOJ and FBI “hate” him.

    Because it's NOT FAIR.

Unless Trump wins. Then it's fair.

And crime is OK now, if it's committed by Republicans, particularly Trump allies. Or Trump. Investigating it is bad and wrong.

Don't you know all these things by now?*

    * They'll leave when challenged, but be back later with more grievance. It's also OK for them to break laws as desired, then claim all possible benefits of the legal system. Parasitic, it is.

The cycle is truly childish by now. But still we allow it to play out.

Yeah, it doesn't help that the key witness is a pornstar now and her legal bills were being paid for by Greenberg at the time. Greenberg got in trouble literally for framing a school teacher for this very same thing. It seems as though the Venmo receipts would confirm the source of the cash, as well.

Just watch that video of Gaetz and Wray. People in Wray's position simply do not like being talked to in that manner, especially in a public setting.

It's not the entire DOJ that hates Gaetz. Hell, I'm sure he had FBI agents who voted for him in his district. It's the top leadership at the DOJ that hates Gaetz.
