Not at all when you look at the number of people you would be leading along with the budget. He doesn't have the experience and what's been at least the year trying to figure out structure and how things work. That's a lot of time wasted

Hegseth is far from my ideal choice as the Secretary of Defense for multiple reasons. That being said he is well qualified in contrast with Matt Gaetz and Tulsi Gabbard. The former is uniquely unqualified by virtue of his complete lack of experience in both law and management not to mention his temperament and absence of a moral compass while the latter is not only unqualified for the position of DNI her affinity for dictators like Putin and Assad who are very real potential adversaries of the US would make her the highest level security risk in the history of the US intelligence community although I guess in the case of Putin as far as Trump is concerned that's probably a positive feature rather than a negative. .

I haven’t fully digested whether and how Gaetz’s House seat being open impacts potential Senate appointments.

But DeSantis has options, from the “keep the seat warm until 26” true insiders, to another Cuban Republican, to folks like Moody, and even the long-shot chances of Casey or Ron.

Trump-world is probably going to push Lara, but I have a hard time seeing how that pick would benefit the state or Ron.

The immorality of progressivism is far more dangerous than the sins of one person.

He's a poser. He was a big Bush and Iraq War guy when he was at Princeton, he's moved on to a "based chud operator guy /fash-curious" persona, like a lot of those young Republican creeps did.

His main qualification is he will unquestioningly do whatever Trump asks him to do. For all of these cabinet picks the requirement is loyalty to Trump, not the Constitution.

Just a guess: So that DeSantis could pick his replacement and not the voters?

Edit: @OklahomaGator was kind enough to correct me. HoR vacancies are filled by election.

House vacancies are not filled by appointment from the Governor, only the Senate. There will be a special election. So the voters pick the replacement.

so if he had a nazi tattoo, would that be a problem? one celebrating the christian crusades is ok? I mean, those weren't brutal wars of oppression and atrocities waged for strictly for religious purposes were they? is that something that should be celebrated?

Ahh I follow you now. Yep, I voted for Trump in 16, 20 and 24. Ironically, what flipped my vote in 16 was a delayed flight forcing me to watch 4 hours of CNN in Hartsfield. All they spouted the entire time is how this guy fat shamed Miss America and made fun of crippled reporters. Something struck me odd about the coverage. When I finally got home I dug around on Google. At the time, Google wasnt nearly as competent at white washing their search results. One of the top results was a CNN article from a few years prior, praising Trump and Miss America for using it as an opportunity to promote healthy diet and exercise.
First republican Ive ever voted for in my life. Been voting for them ever since.
Red pills are horse pills and often hard to swallow. Ive been fascinated the last few months watching Ana on TYT beginning the process of choking her first one down.

I prefer the term eunuchs. Release the list, release the tapes and let the courts and veterinarians sort out the rest.

And yet a true radical liberal like her is precisely whom Trump is paving the road to be elected in 4 years with governance by the likes of radical rights like Gaetz and Stephen Miller. The meme might be funny today, but it’s gonna scare the crap out of you in 4 years.

One of the worst things for any dictator is an educated population. Seems the felon might not have to worry about 51% of the US population. JK
