    This is the first of Trump’s nominations that I suspect might have real difficulty getting confirmed.

    He is, however, one of the most pro-cannabis Republicans in Congress and one of the five GOP house members to vote for legalization, so would at least be interesting on that front.

    Almost no chance. I just heard something that mirrored my initial thought: this is almost like an opening bid (with a backup in mind). Could be wrong, but too many Republicans will oppose this
