Okay, I can agree that if the DOJ does prosecute that they do almost always win because they have all the evidence to win... slam dunks. That I have to agree with. But that is not the same thing as being "sort of guilty" of a crime simply because they have investigated someone.

 

I would pay real money to see Gaetz defend himself in that hearing. He's fully capable of making people re-think their opinion of his competence to be AG... irrespective of this DOJ investigation nonsense.

Nikki Haley Scorches Trump Pick Tulsi Gabbard Over Her 'Disgusting' 2017 Photo-Op

Nikki Haley on Wednesday slammed former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard — President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to be director of national intelligence — over her 2017 “photo-op” with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. “He was massacring his own people. She said she was skeptical that he was behind the chemical weapons attacks,” said Haley of Gabbard on her SiriusXM show.

Haley, who served as United Nations ambassador under Trump, pointed to a 2017 speech she gave where she held up pictures of Syrian children who were victims of a chemical weapons attack in the town of Khan Shaykhun.

Gabbard, just months before the attack, met with Assad during a secret trip to Syria and, in 2019, would declare that the Syrian president was “not an enemy” to the United States.

“For her to say that Assad was not behind that, literally, everything she said about that were Russian talking points, every bit of that, that was Russian propaganda,” said Haley before adding that the Democrat-turned-Republican also blamed NATO for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. She continued, “And the Russians and the Chinese echoed her talking points and her interviews on Russian and Chinese television.”

 

Trump ended up dropping his nomination for AG of a nominee who probably couldn't get an entry level position as an Assistant US Attorney. Hopefully his nominee for DNI who probably couldn't pass the background investigation necessary to receive a top secret security clearance for a position as an entry level intelligence analyst at the CIA, DIA or NSA for the reasons stated in post #128 will also be forced to withdraw her nomination although I wouldn't bet on it.

 

If Gabbard worships Bashar, then so too shall the MAGAs.
