Great pick. Though I kind of wish she would have taken Rubio’s spot and Trey Gowdy take AG…

This is not a good pick. The Intelligence Community won't let her do her job and most of it stems from the Trayvon Martin case.

I don't know if this is 4D chess or just dumb luck, but this almost seems planned. You nominate a loon like Gaetz, knowing you'll get tons of pushback and essentially poison the water. Then he drops out and his replacement is this foolproof, slam dunk that's going to sail through the nomination process, especially when compared to the first choice.

If the thought was Bondi all along, it's kinda brilliant. Rubio is similar. Compared to a lot of the other nominees, he's a slam dunk, rubber stamp, etc. that should sail through with ease.

I think she will target criminals, not anti-Trumpsters. I also think she is absolutely qualified for the job, even if I don’t necessarily agree with her politics. I can’t think of a single reason why she wouldn’t get confirmed.

Huh? Two different counties, two different State Attorney's Offices. Pam had nothing to do with that case.

Then why just nominate her to begin with? She’s not even a controversial pick, relatively speaking.

It's almost as if Gaetz was a troll and this was always going to be the choice. That's probably giving Trump too much credit, but yeah, there is no way she isn't confirmed. It's almost if not the perfect resume for an AG.

Doubt it was Trumps’s idea. He was likely “guided” into this move for the AG by someone like Susie Wiles.

That was a heart wrenching situation.

For those that don't know. Pam adopted a St. Bernard from a Clearwater shelter that was a Katrina rescue dog from New Orleans. Her St. Bernard had died. After Pam had the dog for some time, the owners tracked it down and wanted it returned. Pam refused, a lawsuit was filed and the case was ultimately settled with Pam returning the dog.

I read about that. It is a sad situation. I'm sure both sides just really wanted the dog. In the end (my understanding is the NO family had kids) she did the right thing and returned it.

I thought that was DG and that Tri-Delt was a step down from DG.
