In short, no. They all essentially carry the value of the last trade on that company. And if only a small number are traded that can be really volatile, especially with a stock like this where supply and demand are so out of whack and changing so dramatically with the intense short seller interest and irrational exuberance or blind Trump faith on the other side.
Then start thinking about the upward pressure as the army of short sellers were having to buy back the shares as part of the contract, and coming up against the Trump never sellers as they tried to do so. How much do you have to offer them to get them to sell, especially when the smarter ones know the short sellers are stuck and have no choice but to sell?
It’s fascinating because it’s all a really extreme example of so many market fundamentals. A similar short squeeze drove GameStop up 1500 percent. But that’s why I was saying someone timed it right. This was likely the height of the required buybacks by short sellers, and they hopped in at the bottom and took the available shares and liquidity out before the contracts came due.

but as also mentioned above, the money isn’t truly made till they sell.

Nunes calls out the SEC to investigate naked short selling while providing guidance to investors on how to stop your shares from being lent to shorters.

Maybe that was the genesis of the spike yesterday, naked short sellers getting out before getting busted??

then again, not sure that anything Nunes says has any basis in reality anymore

DJT Stock Rises. Trump Media CEO Alleges Potential Market Manipulation. (msn.com)

In a letter to the chair of the Nasdaq Stock Exchange dated Thursday, Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes alleged that data on the stock were “indicative of unlawful trading activity” and pushed for the exchange to take steps for the disclosure of short positions.

Nunes didn’t provide any specific evidence in his letter that Trump Media stock was being manipulated.

“Data made available to us indicate that just four market participants have been responsible for over 60% of the extraordinary volume of DJT shares traded: Citadel Securities, VIRTU Americas, G1 Execution Services, and Jane Street Capital,” Nunes wrote in the letter.

The four companies named in the letter all act as market makers which handle a large proportion of trading orders, especially those made via retail brokers, which is likely to be common for Trump Media due to its popularity with individual investors.

Pretty sure it was their $4 million in revenue reported with $60 million in expenses that caused the stock to plummet. OJ died without finding the real killer, hopefully Nunes can figure it before it’s too late.

Someone should be looking into how the stock was manipulated into its relatively high valuation. Figuring out why it crashed is so easy Devin's cow could explain it.

    Edit: BLUKED!

Hmmm... isn't what Nunes is doing something called stock manipulation?

Maybe they should investigate what happened to make the stock jump back up 20% the other day. Some big moneyed friends jump in and try and help out the Nod Father?

The man who audited Trump's social media company misspelled his own name in 14 different ways: FT

The accountant hired to audit former President Donald Trump's social media company seemed to have a lot of trouble spelling his name, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.

Ben F Borgers, the founder and managing partner of the accounting firm BF Borgers, spelled his name in 14 different ways in regulatory filings, the Financial Times reported, citing data it had reviewed from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Some variations, like Ben F Brogers and Ben F orgers, appeared to be minor spelling mistakes. But others, like Blake F Borgers and Ben F Vonesh, were entirely different names.

Speechless. Cannot read without setting up an account, but did anyone determine whether there is such an individual? Especially given that one of the monikers is Ben F Orgers, or been a forger.

Assuming he does exist, has anyone sked whether he confirms her indeed prepared those?

Holy crap, it's Saul Goodman in real life and an auditor instead of a lawyer. Also, his office is behind a Vietnamese Grocery Store instead of nail salon (this is true).

Maybe the best in terms of two related shows. Plus, given how seedy Hollywood can be, you always hear that Gilligan and Gould had the most high mined writers room and production generally - class all around

will the SEC approve the insiders to sell. I guess I missed where the board agreed to waive the lockup period. lot of otherwise good people in the cult of trump about to lose a lot of money..can't fix stupid...

Truth Social Stock Warning Issued by Analyst (msn.com)

On April 15, Trump filed documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) meaning that, pending the SEC's approval, some investors will be able to sell their shares.

"On April 15, Trump Media filed the SEC Form S-1 in order to register all of the newly merged company's shares for sale. That started the clock ticking for the SEC approval followed by a potentially large sell-off," Tobey explained.
