Even when Trump debated Biden during the 2020 campaign he didn't do all that well.
I'm not sure that it would make any difference who Trump would debate since he has a tendency to shout, go off-topic, become unhinged and regurgitate his standard lines no matter whom he would be debating. If I recall the first debated deteriorated into a shouting match between Old Joe and Deranged Donald with the second one not being much better.

 

I'm not a big fan of starting a thread just because one of these guys misspoke or got something wrong or simply lied. But let's not pretend we haven't had a bunch of these started about Biden and Trump.

But, yeah, the debate between two guys, if that happens, is going to be painful.

 

It's not cognitive. He doesn't plan to leave office ever if he gets back in. And no, he won't care what the law says.

 

"Gees," I don't know what's worse, the fact you didn't know what you were talking about when you posted or that you got 4 people to agree with you.

 

He was referring to politics, not to economics, and so was I. Although partisan bickering won't solve anything, I really don't believe anything else will, either. And I'm getting tired of being lumped in with people who retired on full pensions and social security over ten years ago. The pensions abandoned us halfway across the river and Social Security is being held out in front of us like a dangling carrot. We were in elementary school when "we" were burning our draft cards and solving the world's problems on acid. We're the first ones getting screwed over, not the millennials and not the Z's.
