Trump Hires Tulsi Gabbard for Debate Prep

It's nice for Tulsi to get a 2nd revenue stream other than her salary from Putin.

However, I hope she gets paid up front by Trump.

 

Trump kept rattling off one lie after another. Biden just stood there like he was frozen and when he spoke he didn't help himself. Won't happen with Harris. She will call him out for his lies he will end up being the one who is flustered maybe even reverting to name calling.

 

You mean she will out lie him--IF she has a good night.

Nobody can out lie the master. Just one example: Trump will almost certainly regurgitate one of his all time favorites, that violent crime is at a near record and that illegal aliens are responsible when the actual data indicate that violent crime is dropping and that immigrants including undocumented ones are less likely to commit violent crimes than native born Americans. He will probably also state that illegal aliens are crossing the border in record numbers and while there may have some truth to that statement earlier in the Biden administration, the numbers have significantly dropped with the number of encounters at the border now at the lowest level in four years. Some other lies Trump will tell include his attempt to disavow his relationship with Project 2025 when he has a history of a long relationship with the Heritage Foundation as well as some of the architects of the plan.

Trump delivered the same shtick that he has been delivering since 2015 including the usual tirade of blatant lies and Biden just stood there and did nothing. It was the most pathetic performance that I have ever seen in a political debate. Joe Biden's responses to the extent that he even responded at all were so cringe worthy that Trump could have been debating a ham sandwich.

 

I think you may be right about her lecturing down to Trump. If you are for Trump, you’ll hate her for it. If you’re against Trump, you’ll be fine with it.

The one thing Trump will need to be cautious with, in my opinion, is his rabid lies. People will be far more inclined this time around to engage in fact-checking, as opposed to pulse-checking.

 

If memory serves me correctly, he broke a record (or was close to it) for most lies during a presidential debate. If that’s “staying on message,” what does that tell you about the MAGA message?!

 

This might be the first time Trump has hired a woman without the expectation that she was going to pee on him. Or maybe that expedition is there, not sure….
