Didn't you claim that he would never be arrested too, with similar claims about people stopping that from happening?

How much time should a person that isn't DJT that is convicted of 34 counts serve in prison? Then tell me how much time DJT should serve

Funny how the same people that thinks that Trump is just a victim of a political witch hunt are the same ones that are ready to lock up Hunter Biden

Put me down as not gloating. Trump is not above the law but this whole thing is not good for our country. This will just radicalize maga even more who has already proven to be violent. What a mess.

And at least one of the jury members got most of their news from Trump Social, presumably a juror biased in favor of Trump yet still declared him to be guilty after seeing the evidence presented in court.

You are probably right that he won't go to prison for the 34 felonies, because rich white guys never do ... but they way this works is that Trump has to show up for his sentencing on July 11th, if the judge does give him jail time, he can be taken into custody right there on the spot, from what I'm hearing. And Trump is too much of a coward not to show up to court...

Again just try to jail him. You'll have the biggest battle ever on American soil.

No , not because of some made up army of mental midgets. But, because a first time non-violent offender only goes to jail less than 10% of the time in NY.

The only thing working against Trump is him being stupid enough to being found in contempt of court 10 times. A total, by the way that would have landed the rest of us in jail 9-10 times over.

I never doubted he'd be found guilty.

The question I have is does this help him in November?

We all know most of the country are in their respective bunkers....so we're mostly talking about a small % of undecideds....right?

Mob rule, so much for the rule of law. Maybe some more trials for any of them that break the law trying to support their orange god?

Class E Felony, right? Just above a Class A Misdemeanor.

For someone with no priors, I would think probation.

But it's got to survive appeal first.......

Maybe... Maybe not. Either way I don't care. If a politician commits a bunch of felonies that need to be punished

Class E, non-violent felonies do not appear to have mandatory jail sentences, with a max of 1 1/3-4 years in prison. I'd imagine that him being old and rich will certainly help. The fact that this crime isn't violent obviously helps as well. I don't know the sentencing law, but I would imagine that the lack of remorse and the contempt of the court can't help. I'd also wonder if the fact that he is currently under indictment in both Georgia and federally for unrelated charges would make it more likely that he would take some jail time.

You don't care whether or not this helps him get re-elected?

Cause that's what you just said.

I doubt he gets jail or prison time.
