    Sure, the former President's legal team filed something and the DA wants to respond prior to sentencing. None of that has anything to do with an appeal. However, I notice that you didn't provide the important case law by which such an appeal would be decided. Would you like to try again?

    Sure. I am sure that as good lawyers, they base their opinions on legal precedent. So, perhaps you could provide the legal precedent that your lawyer friends provided. I guess the alternative is that you don't have any. Is that the case?
